One day assembly of Grain Lab members to help shape the future - Sunday 5th May

We would like to invite folks in the network to join us in shaping UK Grain Lab as we begin to grow. We will reconnect and celebrate our collective work to democratise, decentralise and diversify the UK grain system.

If you have been to Grain Lab before, expect something a little different. Rather than a series of talks and activities the day will be designed around orientating and anchoring ourselves as a movement imagining a new culture of radical change.

Come and hear what’s been happening within grain lab since the last gathering and share what you’ve been up to. It will be a day and evening to catch up with each other and share great food and drink.

This event is participatory, we welcome everyone who has an interest and wants to get involved in enriching the movement towards an alternative grain economy in the UK: Brewers, maltsters, bakers, millers, cooks, farmers, plant breeders, artists, shopkeepers, storytellers, scientists, funders and community organisers.

Tickets are offered on a pay what you can afford basis.

The £25 ticket covers our costs.

Reduced price tickets are available for low or un-waged applicants.

If you are representing a business who trades in this network, employing 10 people or more, please select a supporters ticket.

If you are an individual, and you are able to, please consider sponsoring a low wage ticket by purchasing the ‘pay it forward’ option.

UK GRAIN LAB is funded through ticket sales and private donations & sponsorship. We do not aim to make a profit. The price covers the cost of food and drink, furniture and space hire and supports invited contributors with travel and accommodation allowances where necessary.
